Three of us. We were the only ones left, the only ones to make it to the island…
It all started well. I said goodbye to my parents and joined the rest of my class on our trip to Paris, but the peace didn’t last long…
An hour after we left, a strong gust of wind carrying large pieces of garbage hit the plane, jamming the engine. Our plane began to freefall, and I knew that things would not turn out well. While the plane was falling, it suddenly rebooted itself and tried to lower its falling speed. It wasn’t able to regain its flight, however, and eventually crashed straight into the sea. The plane started to sink as the passengers hurried to the exits. I was one of the first few people to exit the plane, but it was too late. We were very deep underwater, and everything turned dark…
I woke up on a deserted island, and found out that I was washed ashore by the waves. I was lucky I made it, and began exploring the mysterious island. The island was filled with wildlife but no civilization. It was fairly large, and easy to get lost in, so I walked along the coastline. While I was exploring the tropical island, I found two other people, lying at the shore. I recognised their faces from the airplane, as I was hurrying out of the aircraft. And so I woke them up, and told them about the situation: we were the only survivors of the plane crash. We decided to work together on exploring the island and surviving. We managed to find some fish and fruits scattered around the island, and a few days of surviving later, we all became great friends.
We slowly got used to surviving in the wild. One day, we decided to explore deeper into the island, and found a cave. Walking into the cave was like walking in an endless corridor full of loops. We walked for hours and hours, and finally, we saw a glimpse of light. We ran toward it, and found ourselves in a room filled with golden treasures and jewels. Not long after, we found a hidden exit that led straight back to a spot near our campsite, and so we transported all the golds back to the campsite and continued our search.
Soon after we found the treasure, one of other survivors tried to steal it. He packed it into a bag and began swimming away, but had no chance of facing the strong waves. He was forced to swim back before he ran out of energy. Asv we confronted him, he apologised that he stole the treasure, and said that he was momentarily overtaken by greed. He promised that once we return to civilization, he would only take one out of the hundreds of gold pieces. And so we agreed and forgave him.
A day later a helicopter came towards our island. We waved our arms in the air, hoping for it to see us and take us back home. It finally spotted us, and took us back to town. They said that they were the search party looking for survivors and investigating the plane crash case. No one else was found by the rescue team, and they told us that we were all very lucky. We all parted ways back home, and split the treasure we found between us.
