When I travel through the bedroom mirror to another dimension
I recently went on a vacation. Well, I can’t call it a vacation, because it was more like a business trip for my parents, but they just brought me along. We stayed in a holiday house which was located in a rural area. It was a big house that was 2 stories tall. Living inside the house were only me and my parents, which made the place lonely because my parents always went out for work and left me behind. The house was on top of the hill and far from the cities since we could not afford anything better. The house was facing a seemingly endless road, and the other side was filled with trees and nothing more.
I heard from city folks and found that people didn’t like this house because it’s not only far away from the cities, but it also carried a strange rumor. They said that this house was visited by the spirit of a girl who always carried a doll with her, and some people saw a girl walking out of the house but actually, there was no one living inside! The night after hearing about this rumor, I tried to distract my mind by reading a book. However, I couldn’t help myself from thinking about this. All of a sudden, I heard someone singing outside my bedroom. Terrified, I went towards the door and opened it. There was no one!
I continued to hear the singing voice fading away from me, and so I left my bedroom to follow the voice. Then I found myself entering another bedroom standing in front of a bedroom mirror. I slowly walked towards the mirror. With every step I took, a shiver ran down my spine. The moment I touched the mirror, a thousand colors flashed through my eyes, and then there was complete darkness.
I then found myself standing in the middle of the house, but this new world is completely black and white, everything was colorless as if I became colorblind. I walked around, exploring this new dimension. It seems that nothing has changed except for the color, but when I entered my room, I realized that the painting on the wall was gone, and it was replaced by a portrait of a girl, a girl who seems like I met before but I knew I haven’t, a girl who was carrying a doll…
